Maniac

With „Maniac“ you bring 80s vibes into your set – not in a soft-pop guise, but as a punchy, rocky Guggen number. The driving energy of the original is preserved but gains more force through the arrangement. Musically the piece has quite a bit to offer: in the chorus, offbeats and rhythmic displacements provide the necessary kick – good interplay is required here. The first trumpet gets to shine in the upper register, which makes the piece musically exciting and tonally powerful. A great title for Guggen bands that like to go full throttle but are also looking for a bit of musical challenge.
